Growing . . .

Remember the little girl that lost her soul? I talked to her the other day. She looked happy.. A bit happier than usual.

From our conversation she left me with a few points about life. After losing herself to that guy, she realized that she could not continue living life wondering 'What if..'

She was tired of asking herself 'What if I didn't fall for him?' 'What if I did not do this?' She was beating up herself about something that happened in the past. She was living in the past for years and was trying to find her way out. You know trapped in a maze.

One day, something woke her up. She realized if she continued dwelling on past mistakes and wondering if she had done things differently then she would be living life backwards forever. It was now to move on.

She found a new soul. Someone that matched her. She trusted this person as much as she trusted herself. They became her best friend. Someone she confided in; someone that shared a piece of her. She didn't have to think too hard because everything felt just right. Everything was falling into place.

The happiness she was praying about for the past years had finally come. And she prayed that it would never be taken away.

She was growing.. She learnt to outgrow temporary people and living life in the past. She also hoped that this new happiness helped her grow a little stronger on her road to maturity.
